Melissa DeLisio

  • Will teach both traditional and non traditional marbling techniques that can be used on a wide variety of fabrics and paper.
    • Learn the process from start to finish including some of the best products to use and the results you can achieve by using different types of fabric paint and different application methods.
  • Fibers can be used in a wide variety of crafts including quilting, landscape and art quilts, whole cloth quilting, clothing, collage and mixed media.
    • Each piece you create will be unique and one of a kind.
    • After the demo, two randomly selected guild members will have the opportunity to try their hand at creating a piece of fabric that will be ready to take home after the meeting.

Dee Hart

  • Quilting for over 30 years and teaching quilting for eight years.
  • She is active in two guilds and two other groups, and has a long-arm business.
  • Offers a wide variety of beginning and intermediate classes and workshops including introduction to piecing, domestic machine quilting, machine/hand applique, hand quilting, Hawaiian applique, Use of Marti Michel templates, binding, color, and a variety of quilt patterns.
  • Dee has taught at Lakefarm Park - Kirtland Quilt show for the last five years.
  • She has presented workshops for several local guilds and teaches at Ohio Star Quilt, Akron and Serendipity Quilting in Hanoverton.
  • Dee will teach for the first time at NEORQC Quilt Getaway Weekend in February 2018.

Judy Kessler Smith

  • With over 35 years of teaching quiltmaking, designing and exhibiting, I'm always expanding my horizons. At present, I'm concentrating on painting & printing my own fabrics and working with stars and scrap fabrics! How can I assist your creative endeavors?

Felice Troutman

  • Felice's love of color, fabrics and threads started with embroidery on jean jackets as a high school student and has now taken her to designing appliqué art quilts using felted wools, cottons, and lots of embroidery to enhance the work.

    She creates patterns for her work that can be purchased on her website and at local shops.

    • First place awarded at the 2016 Mutton Hill Quilt Show for "Tuscany" (see image below).
    • First and Second Place Ribbons awarded at the 2015 Mutton Hill Quilt Show for "Eat Your Veggies" and "Yummy Fruit quilts". Patterns are available for both of these quilts.
