Lucy has taught elementary age students how to use a sewing machine and make a string piece block. Students have assembled blocks to make charity quilts and have used their blocks to make pillows and bags. Lucy teaches beginning classes for sewing, quilting. Lucy offers a class to guilds on how to modify the three fabric pillowcase pattern to include a fold-over cuff with drawstring and carrying strap. Additional class offerings for beginners can be found on our website. Lucy is available to teach small groups of students in our sewing studio or at their location.
